Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nevada, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical/Telemetry Unit on a full-time schedule. You will provide safe, compassionate care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient-centered care principles in a busy acute care setting.

Applicants must hold an accredited RN program, Nevada RN license, BLS and ACLS, with at least one year of acute care experience (or three years part-time).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• Current ACLS certificate.
• One year full-time or three years part-time experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Involves patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet patient/family needs.

This Registered Nurse opportunity is a full time position on our Medical/Telemetry Unit and offers full benefits and a convenient night shift schedule. We are looking for a dynamic Medical/Telemetry Nurse (RN) that will help provide safe and compassionate care to our patients in the medical/telemetry environment. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
