Job summary

Right Hire Consulting LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg, night shift, to deliver compassionate care and support patient outcomes.

The RN will perform plan of care, document, monitor patient, assist with ADLs, coordinate transfers and education, while advocating for patients.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration and specimen collection.
• Documents patient care provided.
• Monitors and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Coordinates across disciplines for transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Educates patient and family, considering age, culture, and condition; advocates for patient wellbeing.

Job Responsibilities

Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.

Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse / RN you will have:

Graduated with an Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program as a Registered Nurse / RN.

Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN.

BLS certification is required. ACLS preferred
