Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina invites applications for a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process within a collaborative health care team.

The role requires an Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Active RN licensure in South Carolina or a compact state, BLS is required and ACLS is required. A $30,000 sign-on bonus is available to new hires with experience. 36 hours per week, paid hourly at Health-28 pay grade.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or ARC equivalent.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Interact with the health care team to achieve desired results.
