Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. You will provide direct patient care, adhere to nursing protocols, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role requires an NJ RN license, BLS, ACLS/NALS/PALS as needed, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. Shift is 7PM-7AM, 24 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays, on-site in Camden, NJ.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• Current NJ-RN License.
• Current NJ-BLS Certification.
• Certain specialties may require ACLS / NALS / PALS.
• 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Short Description

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.

Overview

Kelemen North and South 9 is a two-sided, seventy-six bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. Our staff care for a variety of patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, gastrointestinal, and psych.

To support our staff are Clinical Nurse Managers (CNMs) which help with patient care, throughput, and assignments. Nurses who are staffed on Kelemen 9 are required to have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, which will allow competent and safe care for our complex patient populations.

Experience Required

1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Education Requirements

Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.

License/Certification Requirements

• Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse).
• Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
• Certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS)
