The role requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing, active Michigan RN licensure, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN is preferred for advancement and development opportunities.

Med Surg - This is a 55 Bed Med Surg Oncology, Hospital Unit. We're the inpatient Chemo unit. We have a hand-full of Chemo's every month. We do Chemo training after 6 months. We have in-patient Hospice. IV skills preferred. This is a fast pace unit that see's a heavy volume of admissions and discharges.
Uses independent professional judgement, analytical skills, and the nursing process to provide a full range of delegated, interdependent, and independent nursing services to patients. Within the framework of the Seven Dimensions of Patient Care and Benner's Domains of Nursing Practice, demonstrates clinical competence; compassion and customer service orientation; focus on process and outcomes, and cost-consciousness when assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients.

As an RN- Inpatient Weekend at Genesys, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and coordination of quality patient care during weekend shifts. You will support patients and their families by utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Your work ensures that patients receive compassionate and effective treatment, contributing to their overall health and recovery.
