Job summary

AdventHealth in Davenport, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care during night shifts, assess needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, quality, and compassion, while adhering to clinical standards and Florida state requirements. Requires RN license, BLS; ACLS preferred; Associate degree.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing required.

Job Description:

Shift: Nights

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ acute care hospital setting

Licenses and Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

$31.53 - $50.40
