Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Medical/Surgical Oncology team. The RN will provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, following the nursing process and standards, and will delegate tasks to the health care team.

Responsibilities include collaborating with care providers, updating care plans with patients and families, and identifying at‑risk patients to ensure safe environments.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification.
• At least 6 months RN acute care experience.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.

Position Description

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
