Job summary

Career Land Center in Ft. Walton Beach, FL is seeking a Med-Surg Oncology RN for night shift coverage at a facility with advanced stroke and cancer services. You will collect data, develop care plans, and advocate for patient safety, while educating families about treatments and medications.

A valid RN license and BLS are required. Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care or related settings is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start.
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration within 18 months of start.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care or similar settings.

Responsibilities

Career Land Center is hiring for a Med-Surg Oncology RN at a healthcare facility in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, home to an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, a dedicated Cancer Care Center, and full open-heart surgery services.

Responsibilities: Collect and analyze patient data to build individualized, outcome-focused care plans. Serve as a dedicated advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the stay. Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and treatment plans. Collaborate with the broader care team to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements: Minimum 1 year of RN experience (acute care not required — LTAC, SNF, and similar settings will be considered). Associate Degree in Nursing. Current, unrestricted RN license. BLS certification within 30 days of start. ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Administration within 18 months of start.

Schedule: Night shift, rotating weekends.
