Job summary

Riverside Health in Newport News, VA, seeks a Part-time Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients. You will work under the supervision of Nurse Manager and Director, coordinating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and patient education.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, ensuring safe transitions, and documenting per RHS standards. Sign-on bonuses are available for eligible RNs.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred or Associate degree in nursing; diploma acceptable with substitutions.
• High school diploma or GED if nursing diploma graduate.
• Registered Nurse license in Virginia or compact state on hire.
• CPR/BLS certification on hire.

Responsible for supervising and delegating non-professional personnel working directly with him/her to ensure optimum patient care. Must demonstrate competence in dealing with age related needs of the specific patient populations served in nursing unit.
