Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, part of Southern New Hampshire Health, seeks a Registered Nurse for 36 hours/week shifts (7a-7p or 11a-11p) with day/evening rotator and every other weekend. The role supports 3 East, a 30-bed med/surg unit, delivering compassionate, evidence-based nurse-led care.

Responsibilities include care assessment, goal setting, and active family engagement within a supportive, professional team. NH RN license and ASN/BSN required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN).
• Registered Nurse, licensed in NH.
• Competencies: BLS within 30 days; IV therapy and peri-operative management within 90 days; orthopedic devices management within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement priority-based nursing care and establish goals to meet patient needs.
• Incorporate best practice and evidence into patient care.
• Engage patients and/or families in the care delivery.
• Function within the scope of practice.
• Communicate effectively with team and adapt to situations.
