Job summary

Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry, ID seeks an experienced RN for Med/Surg to supervise and evaluate patient care, coordinating with LPNs and CNAs to ensure safety and timeliness according to hospital policies.

The position requires an accredited nursing degree, Idaho RN license, CPR/BLS, ACLS within 2 months, with TNCC and PALS preferred. Schedule features 12-hour nights, 72 hours per pay period, and flexible options based on department needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Idaho professional RN license.
• Six (6) months medical/surgical patient care experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 2 months of hire.
• Prefer TNCC and PALS.
• Must key board at 30 wpm; be proficient on computers i.e. Outlook and Electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, deliver and evaluate patient care for Med/Surg.
• Coordinate care with LPNs and CNAs to ensure safety and timeliness.
• Perform administrative shift activities as designated by supervisor.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures and assist with scheduling and staffing.

POSITION SUMMARY:The Registered Nurse (RN) of Med/Surg is responsible for supervising, delivering and evaluating patient care delivered by all components of the shift (i.e. LPN and CNA care delivered in a safe and timely manner based on the policies and procedures of the facility).
