Incredible Health in Jackson, MI is actively hiring a Registered Nurse - Med Surg to care for diverse patient populations in a hospital setting. The role involves bedside nursing, medication administration, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support safe discharge planning.

The ideal candidate has ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS, and about one year of med-surg experience, with proficiency in EMR systems.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year nursing experience in med-surg or similar setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care and to facilitate discharge planning.
• Educate patients and their families on chronic and acute disease management, medical conditions, and post-discharge care.
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital and departmental policies.

Salary: $72,470 to $111,200 /year
