Job summary

Incredible Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical unit. Ideal candidates have experience in cardiac, oncology, orthopedics, and post-discharge planning. Shifts available include day and night, with full-time or part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. Must hold ADN or higher, an active RN license, 1 year med-surg experience, BLS, and EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree is required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a med-surg or similar setting.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of patient care.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population, including those with acute and chronic conditions.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and implement treatment plans as directed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and post-discharge care.
• Document all aspects of patient care in EMR in compliance with policies.

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
