Job Overview

Centurion Health is the comprehensive healthcare provider for the Missouri Department of Corrections. We are seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Jefferson City Correctional Center located in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Responsibilities

The RN (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the scope of practice to incarcerated patients, working under the director of nursing and/or nursing supervisor. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to assess, identify, and respond to the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Missouri RN license or ability to obtain one.
• Current CPR certification.
• Corrections experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (including drug screen and criminal background check).

Shift and Compensation

12‑hour day shift, 7am‑7:30pm, 3 nights per week with alternating weekends. Pay ranges from $49–$59 per hour plus shift differential, depending on years of experience.
