Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Maternity/OB unit at Milford Regional in Massachusetts. This part-time day-shift position (6:45 am – 3:15 pm) offers a competitive starting range and a signing bonus may be available.

The role requires active MA nursing licensure, BLS, and area-specific certifications within specified timeframes. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, patient assessments, discharge planning, and coordinating care in a high‑quality OB

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS through AHA or ARC is required for every RN within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS through AHA is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• PALS through AHA is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.
• NRP Advanced Provider through AAP is required in select areas within 6 months or first scheduled course offering.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Perform patient assessment/reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develop and coordinate individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Direct, supervise, coordinate and evaluate nursing care within the assigned setting.
• Delegate appropriately following job description and competency level.
• Document patient care as per standard procedure.

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.**Experience/Skills:****Required:**1.
