AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Manager of Nursing Services to provide direct oversight and coordination of float staffing for nursing gaps across PACE sites.

The role also oversees daily nursing operations for onsite specialty services, QA audits, and equipment, supplies, and standard work for MA, LVN, and RN. The position requires a California RN license with a BSN and 7+ years as an RN, including 3–5 years in nursing management.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license with a Bachelor’s in Nursing.
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Public Health preferred.
• 7+ years as a registered nurse with 3–5 years in nursing management.
• 3+ years working with Title XXII licensing regs and/or elderly/geriatric populations; multidisciplinary team experience.
• Valid BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Oversee float staffing resources for nursing gaps across PACE sites.
• Coordinate day-to-day nursing operations for onsite specialty services and QA audits.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and maintenance of clinic equipment and supplies; ensure standard of care for MA, LVN, RN.
• Support onsite provider vendors' workflow and care delivery with internal staff and contracted providers.

Job Overview

The Manager of Nursing Services is responsible for providing direct oversight and coordination of float staffing resources for the nursing gaps at all PACE sites. In addition, this role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day nursing operation processes for onsite specialty services, quality assurance and compliance audits, ordering, inventory, and maintenance of clinic equipment, supplies, and standard of work for nursing levels (MA, LVN, and RN) in the respective areas. Lastly, this position will support in providing ongoing oversight to onsite provider vendors' workflow and coordination of the delivery of care with internal staff and with contracted providers.

Minimum Requirements

• California Board of Registered Nurses, licensed and active with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Public Health, preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a registered nurse with 3-5 years in nursing management in a healthcare setting required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in working with the following: healthcare organization(s) with either Title XXII (licensing regulations) and/or the elderly/geriatric population; and experience working in teams with, but not limited to the following disciplines nursing, social work, psychology, recreational therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, dietetics, medicine and/or gerontology.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.

Compensation

$122,465.83 - $153,082.28 annually
