Job summary

Salina-Regional-Health-Center seeks a Registered Nurse in LTC or Licensed Practical Nurse IV LTC to provide nursing care for assigned patients using the nursing process and in accordance with professional standards and hospital mission.

The role requires an nursing credential (ADN or diploma) with BSN preferred and hospital experience preferred. BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment; PRN scheduling, varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited school.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required within the first 90 days of employment.

Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation, and according to professional standards, state regulations, and in keeping with the health center mission.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Associate Degree, or Diploma Degree, in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing

Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred

Required Registration/License/Certification

Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
