Qualifications

• Active RN license in Ohio or compact license
• Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care
• Reliable transportation to facilities
• Able to pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Record patients’ medical information and vital signs in EMR MATRIX
• Assess resident health status and changes requiring intervention
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Develop and evaluate individualized resident care plans
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Provide supervision to nursing and caregiving staff
• Document assessments and outcomes accurately
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and infection control standards

Responsibilities

An RN picking up shifts through Elite Medical Staffing at a long-term care facility may be expected to:

• Utilize EMR MATRIXto record patients’ medical information and vital signs


• Assess resident health status and identify changes requiring nursing intervention


• Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions in accordance with physician orders


• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized resident care plans


• Monitor resident outcomes and coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members


• Provide clinical oversight, supervision, and support to nursing and caregiving staff


• Respond to resident health concerns and changes in condition


• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and resident outcomes


• Maintain compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements


• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency


• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active RN license


• Minimum 1 year of experience working in long-term care


• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities


• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality


• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds


• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics


• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States


• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations

Credentials Required

• Active and unencumbered OH RN License or Compact RN License


• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport


• CPR/BLS


• Tuberculosis (TB) Test


• Flu Vaccine (during Flu season)


• Covid-19 Vaccine (religious/medical exemptions accepted)


• Resume


• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
