Lifespace Communities, Inc. invites you to join Claridge Court in Prairie Village as a Registered Nurse. Provide direct nursing services to residents on the assigned neighborhood, and supervise care delivery with our interdisciplinary team.

You will administer medications, oversee orders, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic record system, while mentoring new staff and coordinating admissions, discharges, and transfers to uphold high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• RN license required by state regulations.
• One year of nursing experience in a long-term facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct nursing services to all residents on assigned neighborhood or program.
• Provides hands-on training to newly hired team members; retraining as assigned.
• Oversee physician orders; verify orders are transcribed to the EHR; administer medications and treatments.
• Supervise and lead clinical and non-clinical team members.
• Participate with the interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate resident care.
• Document residents' condition and nursing needs accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers to ensure quality service.
• Plan resident admissions with physician; verify orders and coordinate with pharmacy/lab/other departments.
• Provide thorough shift-to-shift handoffs to maintain continuity of care.
