Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Oncology Palliative Medicine is seeking a committed Ambulatory RN to provide coordinated care and symptom management for patients with cancer in an ambulatory setting. You will support care delivery through the nursing process, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and uphold high standards of patient safety and comfort.

The role requires an RN license in North Carolina, at least one year of acute care experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the state where you practice.
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care in line with established standards.
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication to maintain a safe and high-quality patient environment across the care continuum.

• Find other supportive care that may help you, including massage therapy, nutrition therapy or acupuncture

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic carein accordance withestablished standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, andskillscommunication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
