MUSC Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in the Emergency Dept (FMC) in Florence, SC. The role involves leadership of team members, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and delivering patient/family centered care in accordance with nursing standards.

Required are an Associate's Degree, RN licensure, and BLS certification. The position offers a sign-on bonus, robust health benefits, and a comprehensive retirement plan, with 36 hours weekly and onsite work.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license and an Associate's Degree.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to lead and participate in a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Provide patient/family centered care focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, religious, and environmental needs.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment with patient privacy and professional conduct.
• Demonstrates professional practice through governance participation, adherence to standards of care, and accountability.
• Coordinates delivery of patient care using care management principles and identifies priorities to improve outcomes.
