Job summary

Care New England Health System in Providence, RI, seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care in collaboration with families, in line with the American Nurses Association standards.

The RN will provide primary nursing care, participate in the care planning process, assist physicians with tests and procedures, respond to emergencies, and act as a clinical resource to develop other staff while protecting patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be proficient in English.
  • Maintain CPR and credentialing necessary for RN practice.
  • RN licensed in the state of Rhode Island or current state with licensure transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary nursing care to patients in collaboration with families.
  • Perform clinical care and assessment as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary

Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to patients in collaboration with families in accordance with the American Nurse's Association Standards of professional Nursing Practice. The Registered Nurse is expected to provide primary nursing care for patients, and to assume responsibility for other nursing care process by assessment, plan of care, intervention and evaluation.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates competency, individually and as part of the multidisciplinary team, in performing clinical care and assessment of all patient populations.
  • Provides individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients to whom they are assigned.
  • Assists physicians with special tests and procedures.
  • Functions well in emergency procedures according to policy and procedure.
  • Facilitates a team approach to the patient plan of care incorporating all disciplines involved.
  • Incorporates standards of care into nursing practices.
  • Develops, maintains, and enhances necessary skills to work with all patients to whom they may be assigned.
  • Serves as a clinical resource to enhance the development of other nursing staff members.
  • Exhibits professional interpersonal skills in all situations.Protects and preserves patient rights to confidentiality.
Requirements

Registered Nurses are responsible for providing nursing care to patients in collaboration with families in accordance with the American Nurse's Association Standards of professional Nursing Practice. Maintains CPR and any other credentialing or certification necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in an area of specialty. Must be proficient in the English language.
