The Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care within the nursing process, delivering safe and effective care in collaboration with the health care team.

Minimum training includes an Associate degree in nursing with a Bachelor’s degree preferred; SC licensure or compact state required, plus BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. This PRN position supports Labor and Deliver with 12 scheduled hours per week.

Minimum Training and Education

: Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations

: Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider**. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Required.**
