Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse for a part-time 24-hour schedule. You will provide professional nursing care according to the Illinois Nursing Practice Act, assess patients, plan and evaluate care, and delegate tasks as needed.

Required certifications include CPR, ACLS, C-EFM, and NRP, with IL RN licensure. Labor & Delivery experience is preferred. Benefits and growth opportunities are available for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN or higher; if ADN, must graduate with a BSN within five years of start date.
• Current IL RN license; CPR/ACLS within specified timeframes; C-EFM within one year; NRP within six months.
• Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred.

• Provide professional nursing care per Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
• Collaborate as a team member to meet unit goals.
• Adapt duties to the assigned unit or shift.

Hourly Pay Range:$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

Location: Elmhurst, ILPart Time - 24 hoursHours: Nights 7 pm to 7:30 am including rotating weekends and rotating holiday'sRequired Travel: Floating to mother baby as needed

What you will do

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.

Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.

Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.

What you will need

Education: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing ; If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)

Certification: Current CPR through American Heart Association, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position, Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year of start date into position, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of start date into positionCurrent State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

Preferred Skills: Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
