Job summary

Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to work the night shift within the Labor & Delivery department. Labor and Delivery identifies and responds to obstetric and medical complications for pregnant patients 28 weeks or more gestation and delivers family-centered care.

The schedule requires three-night shifts per week (7pm–7am) and every third weekend and every third holiday.

Qualifications

• 15 months of RN experience required.
• Prior Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Active NJ RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Intermittent and continuous fetal monitoring.
• Labor support.
• Assist with pain management, including nitrous oxide.
• Assist with deliveries / circulate for c-sections.
• Recover patients after delivery.

Labor and Delivery department provides services to identify and respond to the obstetric and medical complications of pregnancy and labor and delivery of women 28 weeks or more gestation. We are a team-oriented, supportive L&D unit. We provide patient and family-centered care to all our pregnant and laboring patients. We are a growing unit, working with a great group of providers!

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required
• Active NJ RN license required
• National Nursing Certification preferred

Salary Range

$49.96 - $68.99/Hourly
