Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a dedicated RN to lead coordination and delivery of compassionate patient care in the Maternal Child Health unit. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while guiding staff and teaching patients and families.

This full-time position on the Midnight shift requires passing state licensure, BSN preferred, and at least one year in L&D, LDRP, postpartum, or related areas.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to plan and monitor care.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and hospital staff.
• One year experience L&D, LDRP, Postpartum or similar Maternal Child Health Unit.

• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• One year experience L&D, LDRP, Postpartum or similar Maternal Child Health Unit.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• External Fetal Monitoring Credentialing or Certification required within one year of hire.
