Job summary

Mercy Hospital Perry (Perryville, MO) Department: Labor & Delivery is recruiting a full-time Night Shift RN. The nurse will use the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with other departments, and evaluate care effectiveness while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

The role emphasizes accountability in nursing duties, supportive team collaboration, and alignment with Mercy Service Standards. Evening obligations include 36 hours per week during nights.

Qualifications

• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs, prolonged standing/walking, bending/kneeling/twisting/squatting.

Qualifications

• Required Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Other: Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
