Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide leadership in the Joint Replacement Camp. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families.

You will communicate with the health care team and help find solutions for variances from patient goals. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Michigan RN licensure, and BSN considerations

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Enrollment in a BSN program within 3 years of hire.
• BSN completion within 5 years of hire.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities for nursing care plans.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, and hospital staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the healthcare team.

The Registered Nurse provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire
• Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
