Job summary

Memorial Health IR Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our on-site Interventional Radiology team in Illinois. You will triage patients, provide direct clinical care, educate patients, and coordinate pre- and post-procedure activities while maintaining accurate EHR documentation.

The role requires IL RN licensure and current BLS/CPR certification, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30 schedule, no weekends or holidays, and no on-call.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Illinois required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
• Experience in Interventional Radiology or clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient triage, direct clinical care, and patient education.

Job Description: IR Clinic Registered Nurse

Schedule:

M-Friday, 8:00 -4:30, No Weekends or Holidays. No call.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide patient triage, direct clinical care, and patient education.
• Coordinate care within the Interventional Radiology Clinic.
• Serve as a patient advocate and navigator, coordinating pre-procedure and follow-up care and communicating laboratory and imaging results.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, disease prevention, and self-care practices.
• Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) documentation.
• Adhere to safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.

Licensure, Certification, and Registry

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to position and/or transfer an average adult patient and possess sufficient gross motor coordination to perform required patient care duties.
• Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing.
• Ability to perform complex clinical skills, including IV insertion and IM injections.
• Ability to work in an environment that may involve exposure to blood, bodily fluids, tissue, contagious diseases, radioactive materials, and other potentially hazardous materials.

Pay Transparency

$28.25 - $45.21 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
