Job summary

IU Health is seeking a Radiology Nurse to join the Radiology Nursing unit. The role supports patients undergoing imaging studies with a focus on safety and comfort, while contributing to a team that values professional growth and patient-centered care.

The position requires RN licensure in Indiana (or NLC), an ASN degree (BSN preferred), and BLS certification. A minimum of one year of RN experience is expected, with on-call duties including an evening per week and every fourth weekend.

Qualifications

• BLS certification through the AHA is required.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department policies.

Part-time and Full-time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign-on bonus (available through 9/30/2026). This position is also referral eligible.

Radiology Nursing is a dynamic unit that supports patients undergoing radiological procedures. While the unit does not have a specific number of beds, it plays a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety during various imaging studies. The patient population and diagnoses in this unit vary, reflecting the diverse nature of radiology services.

Shift requirements

3- 9hr shifts per week 7-4:30 M-F, on call rotation- 1 evening per week and every 4th weekend. Must live within 45 min response time for call.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Education: The Registered Nurse (RN) must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Exceptions: Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
