Job summary

Incredible Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in the Seattle, WA area. The role focuses on assisting radiologists in diagnostic imaging and IR procedures, with emphasis on contrast administration and patient safety.

You will educate patients, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care in EMR systems. Required ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year radiology/ICU experience preferred, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year radiology, ICU, or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong understanding of radiologic procedures and safety protocols, including contrast media.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologists during diagnostic imaging examinations and interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer and monitor intravenous contrast agents, addressing allergic reactions or complications promptly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide patient care before, during, and after radiologic and diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Educate patients and families on pre- and post-procedure care, explaining risks and benefits of radiologic tests and contrast agents.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of nursing care per hospital and departmental policies.
