Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver high-level nursing care to assigned patients. The role involves direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process and collaboration with the care team.

Requires nursing degree, Texas license eligibility, BLS certification, and 6 months RN experience. 36-hour weeks across three shifts with a strong focus on safety and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes teamwork and communication.
• Assists in the educational process for patients and families.
• Communicates with team, patients and families and ensures understanding.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Ensures complete, accurate, timely documentation of patient information.
• Administers medications and IV therapy safely and promptly.
• Demonstrates initiative for professional growth and quality care.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure high-quality care across episodes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the episode of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
