Job summary

The University of Miami Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a per-diem position in the UHealth Intermediate Care Unit. The RN will deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner, following evidence-based safety and quality standards.

Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree from an accredited program; BSN preferred. ASN with 2 years to complete BSN is acceptable, plus BLS/CPR and ACLS; at least 2 years of acute ICU nursing experience is required.

• Current RN license with BLS/CPR; ACLS certification.

The Registered Nurse delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care.

MININUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred. RNs hired with an Associates (ASN) degree have 2 years to complete the BSN degree. Registered Nurse License Basic Life Support Certification (BLS-CPR Certification ACLS Two years acute Intensive Care Nursing experience
