Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This night shift role covers 7:00pm to 7:30am with every other weekend, a full-time position at 36 hours per week.

The successful candidate will provide patient assessments, care coordination, and family teaching to support safe, timely interventions. Required qualifications include an Associate's degree or BSN, IL nursing license, and current CPR certification.

• Current Illinois nursing license.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues in person, by phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessed needs.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Intermediate Care Unit - Nights
• Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL
• Full Time, 36 hours/week
• Hours: 7:00pm - 7:30am, Every other weekend
• Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their specific learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice by participating in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.

What you will need:

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
