Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, TX, a 314-bed, full-service acute care teaching hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse for IMC/PCU with ICU-level skills. You will provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements include BSN preferred, Texas RN license or eligibility, BLS, and at least 12 months of IMC/PCU/critical care experience. Certifications will be kept current per department needs.

Qualifications

Job Description : Your Job:

Registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned IMC/PCU patients. Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

Your Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications as required by department
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: at least 12 months IMC/PCU/critical care RN experience
