Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Virginia or a compact multi‑state license in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• RN degree options include Diploma, ASN, BSN or MSN from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assess and admit patients and perform rounding checks.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Communicate clearly with patients' families and care teams.
• Provide overall nursing care for CCU patients in a high‑level unit.

CCU also cares for congestive heart failure and arrhythmia patients. We do bedside transesophageal echocardiograms and cardioversions, remove chest tubes and central lines, and so much more.Our team is a close-knit family of strong nurses and patient care technicians who deliver the best patient experience possible and have fun together in the process.
