Job summary

Methodist Celina Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The role uses the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to support the hospital's mission and goals.

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS certification, Texas RN license (or eligibility) and at least six months RN experience. Evening shift, PRN with weekends/holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Texas RN license or eligibility to practice.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Communicates with team, patients and families and ensures accurate documentation.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment and administers medications and IVs as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
• Work experience: Six months RN experience

Your Job Responsibilities
Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment

Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/significant
other educational process.
Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients, and family members and evaluates

Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
Provides a therapeutic environment through safe, accurate, and timely medication and
IV administration.
Takes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and for professional growth
and development.
Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the
episode of care.
Other duties as assigned.
Methodist Celina Medical Center is located on a 40+ acre campus just off of Dallas Parkway, and will serve as the community’s first full-service hospital, serving Celina and surrounding communities. The four-story medical center will open with 51 beds, with plans for expansion, and will feature a range of services including cardiology, women’s services, orthopedics, robotic surgery, and more.
