Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida seeks a registered nurse with critical care experience to join our hospital team.

Candidates must hold an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing, be licensed as an RN, and maintain BLS and ACLS; a preceptor class must be completed within 12 months of competency determination.

Minimum 7 months to 1 year in a hospital CCU setting; EOE.

Qualifications

• RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent.

• RNs hired prior to 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen‘s) are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN.
• RNs hired after 2/1/2012 (South), 10/1/2017 (Bethesda), 10/1/2023 (Boca), 7/1/2018 (Fishermen‘s) with an Associate‘s degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree.
• RN must complete a preceptor class within twelve months of being deemed competent by department leadership for independent practice.
• As per department standard any of the following may be required (ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support, BLS- Basic Life Support, PALS- Pediatric Advanced Life Support, NRP- Neonatal Resuscitation Program or ONS-Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card).

Minimum Required Experience: 7-months to 1-year as a Critical Care Nurse in a hospital environment
