Job summary

Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit on a full-time night schedule.

You will deliver patient-centered care, lead care coordination for a group of ICU patients, and supervise other staff while collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care with compassion and empathy.
• Coordinate plan of care for assigned patients with the health care team.
• Supervise other patient care staff and delegate tasks.
• Ensure optimal patient outcomes through the nursing process.
• Support Intensivists and NP’s; collaborate with Respiratory Therapy during night shifts.

Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is looking for a talented Registered Nurse to join the dynamic Intensive Care Unit.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Schedule: Full Time, 36 hours, Nights

Responsibilities & Duties

• We are seeking experienced nurses who provide patient centered care with compassion and empathy.
• We are seeking natural leaders who love to help everyone succeed and ensures every patient on the unit is receiving exceptional patient care.
• If you are a team oriented nurse who is flexible, adaptable and able to change directions quickly, then this is the right position for you.
• Supportive leadership team, with Nursing Assistants to assist Intensivists and NP’s work alongside RNs during shifts, Respiratory Therapy available at night
• In hospital setting, accountable for utilizing the nursing process.
• Responsible for performing patient care, delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff.
• Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
