Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking an RN for weekend night shifts at our Calispel location in Spokane. The role requires Washington RN licensure and an active BLS; you will administer care, medications, and coordinate with physicians, while documenting in an EMR and communicating effectively with patients and staff.

SHIFT: Saturday/Sunday - 7PM- 7:30AM

LOCATION: Evaluation & Treatment (Calispel location)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES includes but are not limited to the following:

• Administer and monitor patient basic care utilizing the nursing process within the RN scope of practice.
• Medication administration/safety/monitoring.
• Carry out physicians’ orders as assigned.
• Demonstrate positive leadership and goal‑oriented productivity within scope of practice.
• Carry out care plan objectives and goals.
• Assist in delivery of client education.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Comply with all state WACs.
• Facilitate therapeutic communication with patients, visitors, and co‑workers.
• Complete through, timely incident reports as needed.
• Respond to a patient needs and concerns and escalates through supervisory chain as indicated.
• Complete thorough, accurate and complete reporting and documentation of patient’s symptoms, and progress.
• Effectively utilize customer service and motivational interviewing skills to promote appropriate patient centered care.
• Demonstrates flexibility in responding to change and in working with diverse groups and individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

REQUIRED:

• Active RN license in the State of Washington at the time of hire.
• Active BLS within 90 days of hire and must maintain active BLS.

PREFERRED:

• 1-2 years’ experience in Psychiatric setting.
• Previous inpatient experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to communicate with individuals of various backgrounds, education levels and socio‑economic status.
• Ability to apply trauma‑informed concepts and practices related to patient care.
• Must have basic computer skills including ability to document in an electronic medical record, use electronic time tracking, use of Outlook, Word and intranet.

PHYSICAL, SENSORY & ENVIRONMENTAL:

BASE PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non‑Exempt): $43.15- $52.58 All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting base pay for this position is $43.15 per hour plus any added shift differential if noted below: ADDED SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: Weekend Night (7PM -7:30 AM) – 33.40%
