Inova Health is seeking a dedicated Infusion Center Registered Nurse for the new Woodbridge location. This full-time role offers a day shift Monday – Friday, with four 9-hour shifts. Benefits include medical coverage, retirement match, tuition assistance, and mental health support.

Inova Schar Cancer Institute is looking for a dedicated Infusion Center Registered Nurse to join the team at the brand new Woodbridge location. This role will be full-time day shift Monday – Friday. Our full-time nurses work four 9-hour shifts, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.

Role Overview

The Registered Nurse provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination, ensuring safe and therapeutic care in a holistic, systematic way while incorporating differences into the provision of care and conducting all patient care in a patient/family-centered manner. The RN integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum, including patient and family education. The RN communicates effectively, works cooperatively with others, respects other clinical disciplines, and determines processes for delivery of care through direct patient/family communication, technology, and collaboration with other healthcare team members.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience
• Education: BSN or ADN (if ADN, complete BSN within 5 years of start date)
• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association required
• RN licensed and eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal skills and a caring demeanor; proficient computer skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous chemotherapy infusion experience
