Job summary

Sanford Health in Minocqua, WI is seeking an experienced RN for infusion nursing care. You will deliver individualized patient care using the nursing process, assess needs, and plan interventions in collaboration with providers and a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing (or equivalent), an unencumbered RN license, and ongoing licensure/ certifications as required by the department. This is a full-time, day-shift position at Marsh Minocqua Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA or equivalent).
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multistate licensure if in an NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific licensure, competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to infusion patients using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Demonstrate time management and prioritization to meet patient and practice needs; respond to emergent situations requiring critical thinking and prompt assessment.
• Perform age-related patient assessment and interventions and schedule tests and interventions per provider orders.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Adhere to the full scope of nursing practice within the Nurse Practice Act and applicable state rules; uphold the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
