Job summary

TALENT Software Services seeks an Infection Prevention Specialist for an acute care hospital in Orange, CA. This contract role covers a long-term leave, starting ASAP, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends or holidays.

Requirements include 1 year of current acute care experience, infection prevention background, CIC certification, and a degree in Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or related field. EPIC experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Infection prevention experience required, as you will be working independently.
• Education: Degree in Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health science field. RN not required.
• Certifications: CIC Certified.
• EPIC Experience: Highly preferred.

Contract Details

• Contract Duration: Until May 2027 to cover a long-term leave of absence.
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

• Infection Prevention Experience: Required, as you will be working independently
