Job summary

PruittHealth in Lithonia, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse Infection Preventionist to lead our infection prevention program and protect residents and staff. You will work with care teams to identify infection risks, develop prevention strategies, and ensure adherence to policies across shifts.

Active RN license in Georgia is required; hospital or long-term care infection prevention experience is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for career growth within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Active, current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the infection prevention program to protect residents and staff.
• Collaborate with care teams to identify and mitigate infection risks.
• Surveil, investigate, and report infections and outbreaks.
• Educate staff on infection prevention policies and best practices.
