• Provides nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocol; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Educates patients, families and/or caregivers; identifies learning needs and resources.
