Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care in a fast-paced hospital setting in Atlanta, GA. The RN will educate patients and families, coordinate care across units, and advocate for safe, high-quality outcomes using the nursing process.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), 1+ year RN experience, and current Georgia RN license; ACLS is required for specific areas, with new grads required to obtain within

Qualifications

A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred.
One or more years of RN experience required.
Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
ACLS certification required for listed areas; new grads must obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care and maintain a safe environment.
Educate patients and families about healthy practices and treatment modalities.
Coordinate care across settings and among caregivers; advocate and lead when needed.
Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
