In addition to nursing competencies, the position requires Texas RN licensure, BLS at hire, and adherence to orientation timelines for ACLS, PALS, and fetal monitoring requirements.

Qualifications

• Active healthcare provider BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required within 60 days of hire or transfer (Labor & Delivery).
• NRP required within 60 days of hire or transfer (Labor & Delivery).
• GNOSIS fetal monitoring introduction within 30 days; AWHONN heart monitoring within orientation.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Level 2 Nursery certification (renewal not required).
• PALS within 60 days (Pediatrics).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for a group of patients under minimal supervision.
• Complete established competencies within introductory period.
• Perform duties as assigned.
