Universal Health Services—Henderson Hospital in Nevada is seeking a full-time RN for night shift to provide safe, patient-centered nursing care and to lead a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes adherence to hospital standards and enhances patient outcomes, with opportunities for professional growth within the UHS network.

The position requires current NV RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and pediatric NRP or alternative per department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent. BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in NV. Current BLS, ACLS (adult), PALS (pediatrics) or NRP as required by department.

Job Description

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

Shift: FULL TIME NIGHTS

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent. BSN preferred.

Experience:

One (1) year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.

License/Certification:

Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification (Adult patients). Current PALS certification (Pediatric patients) or current NRP certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certifications as may be required by facility, specialty or department.
