Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a professional registered nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. You will lead and support the healthcare team, ensuring adherence to facility policies and Service Excellence standards.

The role requires current Nevada RN license, BLS, and ability to oversee staff while delivering compassionate care across inpatient units; BSN preferred and specialty training within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Completion of a Specialty course or equivalent within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in Nevada and BLS certification required.

Job Description:

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.

Experience:

One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.

License/Certification:

Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty or department.

Other:

Must successfully pass any pre-e
