Northern Light Sebasticook Valley Hospital in Pittsfield, Maine, is seeking a Registered Nurse II for a full-time, exempt position to join the Nursing Unit team.

The RN II will deliver patient care, supervise qualified staff, and coordinate nursing plans in accordance with the Maine Nurse Practice Act and hospital standards, addressing physical, emotional and educational needs of patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment per hospital policies and safety goals.
• Demonstrates ability to operate and troubleshoot unit equipment independently.
• Performs comprehensive and holistic patient assessments.
• Interprets abnormal diagnostic data and responds to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborates with patients and families to develop and implement the plan of care.
• Ensures continuity of care by effective communication within the interdisciplinary team.
